Gemini Season
5/20 - 6/20/25
Â
Gemini Season is here, and if you’re feeling flightier than normal it’s just all of the air building up around you.
Â
You may also feel more reflective over the next few weeks.  Gemini energy is represented by both twins and a mirror.  This is a season where we see ourself in others, become more social, and seek out more relatability.  Ruled by Mutable Air, this sign has a tendency to swing out of balance.  Whether it’s listening versus speaking, isolating versus participating, or a general offset between “me and we”, you may find yourself struggling.  Air energy has no boundaries and the mutable form of air doesn’t always flow in the right direction.
Â
Us Astrologers have known that this year really packs a punch cosmically, especially throughout May and June.  Taurus season brought us a powerful and lucky New Taurus SuperMoon, an emotional and healing Scorpio Full Moon, and a revolutionary and rebellious Pluto Retrograde in Aquarius.  We also had Ceres, the asteroid responsible for nurturing and growth, move into Aries, the sign of the cosmic child.  Combine this with Chiron, the asteroid of our wounds and traumas, also currently in Aries, and we are no doubt healing the childhood things that we weren’t capable of confronting before.

Taurus Season
4/19 - 5/20/25
Â
It’s Taurus Season, and we’re taking things at a leisurely pace.
Â
Even I have had to take some time before sitting down to write about this season!
Â
We begin the journey with the cosmic bull on the same day as a Last Quarter Moon in 1 degree of Aquarius.  This encourages us to slow down and prepare for a new cycle ahead, where all is possible and much can be experienced.  In order to have the energy and “yang” we need to navigate it all, we are asked to start moving more into a yin state now.
Â
Taurus energy is lackadaisical.  While it can sometimes be related to the anger of the charging bull, it is much more relatable to the cow lazing in the pasture.  Taurus people love to eat and sleep.  They like to take their time on decision making.  They also prefer to spend more time solo when in states of distress.  It is only when they are provoked that they actually engage.  Ruled by Venus, the planet of aesthetic, beauty, love, and relationship, Taurus energy prefers to lean into the arts and romanticism over anger and brute force.Â

Aries Season 3/20 - 4/19/25
Â
It's Aries Season, and it's time to spark our fires and fan our flames!
Â
In true Aries fashion, this season starts out in full force.  With both Venus & Mercury traversing retrogrades in Aries this season, there’s bound to be some shakeups, breakups, and breakthroughs.  The beginning of spring is always a time of liminal spaces, as it is the astrological new year.  We’ve also just recently navigated a total lunar eclipse, which is depicted by the tail of a snake in Vedic Astrology and symbolizes the mass shedding we need to do in order to grow.  Add in the fact that this is The Year of the Snake in the Chinese zodiac, AND this Aries season occurs just 3 days after St. Patrick’s Day, and we cannot deny that the theme of life right now is to LET GO!  We cannot rise from the surface if we continue to allow ourselves to be tethered to our traumas, triggers, and past.  It’s time to rid ourselves of this ego-fueled victimizing, and believe that we are always in control of our story.

Cancer Season 2025
June 20th, 9:42pm - July 22nd, 8:29am
(Times are Central Standard)
Â
Cancer Season starts tonight, and I’m writing about it all while rain rolls in.  I’m also cozied up in my sweats at home, enjoying a nice warm breakfast, which is what the energy of the cosmic crab is all about.  This is the season of coming back to home and making yourself comfortable, for it is only in times of safety that you are truly in a position to process what you need to move.
Â
You may have had challenges come to a head recently, or you may have found yourself suddenly “stuck” on the path toward your dreams.  Just two days before this Cancer Season Jupiter—the planet of support and growth— began to square off with Neptune—the planet of dreams and illusion—and the transit will last through July 23rd.  Squares in astrology can lead to sharp turning points (think of those sharp 90 degree angles), and a feeling of friction or tension when it comes to things you’re trying to make happen.  We also have to consider that both planets are currently in Cardinal signs.  With Jupiter in Cancer and Neptune in Aries standing off, there can be a lot of emotionally-fueled, quick changes.  With the Sun, Jupiter, and Mercury all in Cancer now, there could be BIG FEELINGS rising on the tides.  This transit hasn’t happened since 2019, and it won’t happen again until 2032.  Take as much time as you can to be in safe and sacred spaces during this window of time, so you’re clear-headed when it’s time to navigate the stormy seas ahead that may come out of such cosmic tension.
Â
We have been feeling the astrological pressure cooker subtly for a few months now.  It will all start to churn and boil more the first week of summer when the New SUPERMoon in Cancer arrives on the morning of June 25th.  Normally a New SUPERMoon is cooling and grounding.  This particular moon provides an intense amplification of lunar and solar energy.  The new moon this year conjoins the sun just four days after summer solstice, causing almost an eclipse-like effect on earth and throughout the collective.  The sun is shining in its primetime right now, and when the moon shows up at its closest point to the earth to block that energy briefly, then release it again, it will feel like a deep reset.  In fact, many traditions around the world will use this time between summer solstice and the new moon to engage in practices to help clear out, detox, and bring themselves back to a feeling of “home”.  Personally, I will be doing 108 sun salutations, or what we call a Yoga Mala, to help align with my Yoga lifestyle and get myself back into a more disciplinary state for the season.  Whatever you choose as a tool for reset, know that the actions can be deeply karmic.  Saturn is currently in Aries with Neptune, make our actions more powerful and long-lasting than normal.  Use the first week of Cancer season to really get focused, so you can align yourself with the highest version you are working to embody.
Â
If you’ve been feeling weird or “eclipse-like”, the energy may shift once we leave that new moon portal.  On June 26th, one day after the New SUPERMoon, Mercury shifts out of Cancer and into Leo.  This creates bold energy to express and show up as we are, but it may take a little bit before we get there.  By the time we reach July 4th, Venus will have shifted into Gemini where we are much more comfortable accepting all versions and all truths of ourselves.  We will also experience Neptune going Retrograde on the same day, slowing down that karmic pull on every single thing we do.  That weekend will be a good time to be mindful, but also to take a bit of a load off and relax.  If you’re in the United States and celebrating Independence Day, the energy is much more supportive for smooth sailing than it was last year.  One of the main themes of this Neptune in Aries transit is supporting dynamic family and close relationships.  The holiday weekend could bring up family values or ways for you to connect more deeply to those you are closest to.  Cancer Season brings nurturing, comfortable energy.  Take advantage of what makes you feel at home around the 4th and the few weeks after.
Â
The comfort you lean into will give you the courage you need to be yourself.  On July 7th, Uranus will enter Gemini and give you almost radical urges to simply express in full spectrum.  You may even embrace a bit of your rebellious side during this time.  Remember that everything will have some sort of rebound effect, and the Full Moon in Capricorn on July 10th will be sure to give you a reality check if you’re living outside of where you should be.  We will also have Juno going direct within the full moon portal.  On July 11th, this asteroid of partnerships and soul-contracts, will spin direct in Scorpio, helping us to find those deeply connected relationships we need in order to feel comfortable.  The key is, you will only find your people if you authentically live in your truth.  Use the combination of fiery Mercury in Leo, along with the spiritually driven energy of Neptune Retrograde in Aries, to live boldly in the nature of who you are.  With Venus and Uranus in Gemini, there could be a tendency to silence certain facets of your personality.  With Saturn in Aries going retrograde on July 13th also within this portal, not living in your truth could lead to MAJOR repercussions.
Â
It is important to find yourself and “come back to home” at the beginning of this Cancer season, rather than at the end.  Between Neptune and Saturn joining the retrograde party with Pluto, things will be shifting drastically on the collective.  Add in the personal planet of Mercury going Retrograde in fixed fire Leo on July 18th, and things will start to turn upside-down in our own worlds, too.  With the Sun joining Mercury just two days later, things are bound to heat up!  Get ready for a spicy summer!  Just don’t get burned!  Take advantage of Cancer’s water over the next 4 weeks from June 20th-July 21st.  Do your best to hunker down at home or in sanctuaries when chaos ensues.  Give yourself permission to lean into yin states when feeling overheated.  Mother and nurture yourself at all times.  How you do anything is how you do everything.  This Cancer season wants you to take care of yourself and find those who can take care of you when you can’t, so you have the space and people you need when the time for support rears its head.Â
Â

Gemini Season
May 20th - June 20th, 2025
Â
It could be a struggle to feel in control right now.  A Pluto Retrograde personally initiates us into a season of taking back our power and coming to terms with where we’ve been giving our energy unnecessarily.  When we enter Gemini Season, the planet of Pluto will oppose the Ascendant, creating challenges around our growth and ability to move into our next evolution.  A history of past trauma and karmic lessons may also arise as Saturn, the planet of constriction, enters Aries just 4 days after the Sun begins its Gemini Season.  Mix this in with Mercury moving into Gemini the day after Saturn’s shift, and a SUPERMoon moving into 6 degrees of Gemini 2 days after, and we will likely want to dissociate rather than dive deeply in.  Gemini energy has a tendency to deflect more than reflect, so don’t be surprised if you find yourself more avoidant this month and maybe even into the Cancer season ahead.
Â
You may experience strong cravings to fit in or blend in over the next few weeks.  With Gemini being the mirror, the energy has a “chameleon effect” and an ability to morph and become like the energy around it.  This is a good season to analyze your inner circle and decide if the people you surround yourself with have the same like-mindedness and behaviors that you want to embody.  Having Ceres in Aries during Gemini season will also push us to find people who accept us as our most genuine, authentic, natural selves.  When Venus moves into Taurus on June 6th, we will be pushed even further to find those who both value us and promote our growth.  And on June 8th, Mercury will shift into Cancer, encouraging us to express our emotional wants and needs and see who and what actually meets them.  If you don’t find your energetic exchanges reciprocal during this season, it may be time to detach and move on.
Â
Overall, this season is about finding our people as much as we find ourselves.  The abundance of Gemini energy will have us bringing a detailed quality control check over our lives, but it may not be so easy to make changes where we need to, even if we know they are necessary shifts.  Gemini energy craves interaction with others, causing more effort to be put into the external.  The Full Strawberry Moon in Sagittarius on June 11th will help us prioritize more of our joy and let go of what stands in the way of our true bliss, even if it means separating ourselves from so much social exchange.  The moon may also highlight areas of our life where we are putting too much effort, whether that be with a person, a project, a professional pursuit, or more.  As Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius and the planet of joy, moves into Cancer 2 days before that full moon, we will feel a strong need to get back to mothering ourselves and tending to where we haven’t been the brightest.  Don’t be surprised if you start the month strong socially, but end up more independent toward the end.  The Cancer Season just around the corner on June 20th brings an annual summertime sadness.  Combine this with Mars shifting into Virgo 3 days before the seasonal change, and we may feel like we need to take more action around our emotional stability or physical health, rather than worry about others.  The habits and behaviors we move into in order to support ourselves may cause a shakeup in our lives.  Give yourself grace and patience as you navigate these next 4-8 weeks.  It will be likely that much emotional processing will need to be done.
Â
Vesta will go Direct on June 14th, just towards the end of this Gemini Season.  This is an asteroid representing core values and the “sacred flame’ that burns at the heart of the Universe.  This last zodiac season of spring is initiating us into summer, where solar light will burn strongly and give us the willpower to connect only with those who support our embodied truths.  As the peak of the sun illuminates our western hemisphere, we may also feel fired up for a sort of transformation.  As you prepare for the shift, use this Gemini season to truly find your center.  Having a strong relationship with yourself with be a key part of your growth into the exciting year ahead.
Â

Taurus Season
April 19th - May 20th, 2025
Â
It’s Taurus Season, and we’re taking things at a leisurely pace.
Â
Each zodiac sign works to play off the other.  We have just navigated Aries season—the first sign of the cosmic wheel, full of Cardinal Fire.  This is also the sign of the cosmic child, which tends to carry a bit of a feral energy.  Now, Taurus arrives with Fixed Earth, helping to calm the flames that Aries ignited and embrace more of a cow-like nature.  Taurus encourages us to slow our role just a bit.  The season of the cow always arrives in the middle of spring, a time when we should take time to appreciate nature’s beauty all around us.  The blossoms do not last long!  Taurus wants us to take it all in while we can!
Â
Personally, I’ve been feeling the need to slow down, too.  I am also ruled by Venus through my Libra Sun, and my Taurus MC pushes more to find balance between what I love, what I love to do, and what I love to do for a living.  Lately, I’ve been feeling imbalance, and after leading retreat I’ve decided to take more time to slow down and focus.  I’ve set aside moon circles for a bit, opened up my teaching schedule to be more flexible as to where and when I teach, and I’ve shifted my focus to the growth of both my business and my physical studio space.  I have so many plans, but if I don’t slow down and prioritize, nothing will get executed!  This is basically what this Taurus season is about.  It’s time to take all of that driven, exciting energy that Aries cultivated, and decide when to work on which dream.  If we manage our energy wisely, ALL will become possible in the near future.
Â
Fertility is the theme of Taurus season.  This could mean in the sense of actual human conception, but it could also refer to whatever you are trying to manifest and bring into the world.  Aries brought us an ambitious and confident nature, where we could believe in ourselves and the ability to do and acquire anything we desire.  Now, Taurus arrives to help us ground it all into reality.  Think about how the bull carries himself, full of strength and determination.  We can feel the same now as we take each step closer to our dreams.
Â
As you journey through this spring, be careful of triggers that may arise.  Each sign has a high and low, and Taurus tends to marinate in the frequencies of anger.  As mentioned before, this is usually only when provoked.  This is also where Taurus holds onto a bit of that childish emotional immaturity still lingering from Aries season.  One thing I encourage over the next few weeks is “sacred rage”.  Remember that Venutian energy ruling Taurus season, and ask how you can manage your feelings before creating damage like a “bull in a china shop”.  Punch a pillow, scream in your car, or go break things in a bash room.  It might seem silly, but draw a picture of how you feel.  Taurus energy loves art!  Maybe you just scribble out colors that express your feelings or you get creative and throw paint splatters everywhere.  The possibilities are endless!  Get creative with how you manage your energy.  This will get easier throughout the season to do as Venus enters Aries on April 30th and encourages you to process your feelings and Mercury enters Taurus on May 10th and pushes you to express how you feel.
Â
The feelings you need to process may arise and grab your attention just before these 2 big planetary shifts.  This is due to the New Supermoon in Taurus rising on April 27th.  This moon will be closer to the earth than usual, and when a supermoon shows up in an earth sign, we are likely to feel both our earthly human bodies and the human experience strongly.  Don’t be surprised if your feelings show up under this moon.  New Moons tend to make us decide where we need to focus our energy for the upcoming lunar cycle.  If a certain lower frequency shows up, do what you need to in order to move it through and regain balance again.
Â
We will want to have sure footing mid-season when Pluto shifts into Retrograde on May 4th.  This time around, Pluto is in Aquarius, causing us to experience the beginning of power struggles around identity, community, sharing of story, and expansion of knowledge.  With this happening during Taurus season, I am wondering especially about trade.  With Pluto in Aquarius, we may see transactional shifts around more modern concepts like e-payments and cryptocurrency. We may also see issues and things from our past rising up again.  This Pluto Retrograde lasts until October 13th, and, appropriately, will deal with things from the “underworld” or past returning throughout the rest of this year.  On a different note, don’t be surprised if you see vintage art styles or fashion rising back to popularity, old styles of automobiles transformed into modern versions, old recipes being reinvented.  Etc.  There may just be a revival of vintage and antiques in general!  Taurus is all about the finer things in life—fine dining, fine fashion, and luxury overall.  Whatever had the attention of the highest in society in the past may now decide to show up and receive attention again.  The power struggle of attention will be a theme over this next year.  Use the energy of the heavy and sure-footed bull this season to start focusing now on what your truly want, what’s most important, and what doesn’t get you distracted.
Â
The crumbling of foundation will really start to begin on May 12th, when the Full Moon in 22 degrees of watery Scorpio shows up in full-force to help us release what is no longer worth our fertility, effort, and flow.  4 days later, just as the moon leaves its fullest phase, Ceres, an asteroid representing maternal care, life-cycles, and nurturing, enters into Aries, pushing us to tend to our inner child and its desires above all else.  As we move into the next zodiac season, we almost find a repeat of the same energy we started with.  On May 20th, the sun will enter into Gemini season, on the same day that we find ourselves under an airy Aquarius Last Quarter Moon.  The only difference is then, the moon will be at 29 degrees of Aquarius and hanging on the cusp rather than just beginning the journey through.  As we end the earthy voyage through Taurus season and move into the liminal spaces of a Gemini sun and Pisces moon, it will be important to hold onto the footing you established in this season just before.  There is much to come astrologically this summer, and you want to be ready for it!  The more foundation you build now, the more you will be able to stand your ground in the possibly shifting times ahead.
Â

Aries Season
March 20th -April 19th, 2025
Â
It’s Aries Season, and it’s time to spark our fires and fan our flames!
Â
Aries is the hero of the zodiac.  He is the cosmic warrior, ready to fight with all of his might until he sees victory.  We, too, are more motivated now to go after our goals and push through until we have a better life.  With the journey comes challenges.  Usually, Aries is forward-moving, ready to go at any moment and usually taking charge.  This season, there could be some hesitations.  Venus opposes the energy of Aries, yet is currently spinning backwards in this sign.  This debilitates both the inner masculine and the inner feminine, causing internal conflict and inability to make decision.  We also have Mars, which is the ruler of Aries, currently in the water sign of Cancer, where it encourages more logic and heart-fueled behavior rather than rash spontaneity.  While this can have its benefits, it can also discourage us from taking action.
Â
Mercury Retrograde will shift from Pisces into Aries on April 16th, just on the end of Aries Season.  Mercury has also been in the retrograde window the entire of Aries season, due to its pre-shadow beginning on February 28th and its post-shadow lingering until April 26th.  Mercury is our planet of communication, expression, travel, and trade.  When retrograde, all of these categories become tricky.  Mix in our neighbor planet Venus also spinning backwards and causing us to question our worth, and there will be a lot of matters in the mind around money, pleasure, worthiness, relationship, and value.
Â
Venus goes Cazimi, or into the heart of the sun, on March 22nd.  Mercury goes Cazimi on March 24th.  The first week of Aries season is CRUCIAL for decision making, especially with us being between eclipses.  As much as restless Aries wants to go and do, it’s best to rest and prepare for now.  This is not a time to make choice or move forward, unless we absolutely have to.  Even the warrior has to rest every once in a while and make a plan.
Â
There may be times this Aries season where you have to make a decision, even if you do not want to.  Eclipses have a way of pushing us to choose a certain path.  If you find yourself coming to a crossroads this season, remember to weigh all matters from the heart first.  The fire energy of Aries will want you to make haste, but the energy of Pisces, Libra, Venus, Mercury, and the Moon will all want you to slow down and take time for consideration.  When we make a choice during an eclipse season, the results can affect us for up to 2-3 years OR MORE!  We want to be careful right now, and hold off until Taurus or even Gemini season on as much decision making as possible, if we can.
Â
Aries is the child of the zodiac, who sometimes needs more discipline.  This season is about finding structure through everyday ritual and regular practices, so we are fully equipped for the year to come.  The astrology of 2025 has just gotten started, and if you thought March was wild, get ready!  This Aries season brings A LOT to the cosmic table, and there could be some childlike outbursts or tantrums thrown around the consequences this eclipse season brings.  Remember, as much as eclipses are about setting our karma for the future, they are also about reaping the karma of our past.  If anything shakes you up this season or puts you through a sort of “growing pain,” perhaps reflect back and ask yourself where it stems from.  The Pisces energy of these Venus & Mercury retrogrades this season will encourage you to dive deep and find the root feelings of things.  There will also be a push to heal and become more booyant as you begin to rise to the surface and find more breath around all that sweeps you emotionally away.  This Aries season is more about conquering internal battles rather than external wars.  Commit to rising up and doing the work you need to in order to find more inner peace and harmony.
Â
Speaking of the ocean, Neptune, the planetary ruler of Pisces, shifts from Pisces into Aries during this Aries season on March 30th.  This shift hasn’t happened for 165 years, and the last time Neptune was in Aries we were on the brink of the American Civil War.  Transiting Neptune from 1861-1875, the battles she fought fueled by Aries included ideals that made us rise up into a better society.  What will happen now as Neptune, the planet of dreams, liminal spaces, and mystery, shifts into the sign of the cosmic warrior again?  I think we’re already starting to see some of this play out politically, but with it all happening in Aries season AND the Age of Aquarius, there’s bound to be riots around the changes!  Mix in the fact that Pluto Is preparing to go retrograde soon and already in its pre-shadow, AND America is in its Pluto return, and we are likely to see protests on the rise.  Expect this fire-fueled tension to continue through the Full Moon in Aries later this year in October, where Pluto goes direct one week after.
Â
On March 29th, we will experience our final Aries eclipse in the Aries-Libra series, with a partial solar eclipse at 9 degrees, occurring at 5:58am CST.  This will be an important time to release any lingering energies that fan your fire in a negative way.  On April 12th, the Full “Pink” Moon will ask us to soften into our hearts and assess our worthiness.  We will also be pushed to release anyone who puts out our fires, rather than helps them burn.  Energetically, fire is related to discipline, integrity, and the ability to show up.  This Aries season, find the support network you need in order to become who you want.  As life continues to shift in the future and things get potentially rocky, you will need your people, places, and practices even more in order to feel stable.
Â
As we move into Taurus season on April 19th, the energy will be anything but grounded.  Mercury will be direct, but will also shift back into Aries just 3 days before Taurus season arrives.  Mars, the ruler of Aries, will shift into fiery, ego-fueled Leo one day before the beginning of Taurus season.  Mix this with Neptune back in Aries for the first time in 165 years and Venus shifting into Aries on April 30th during Taurus season, the the season of the cosmic bull will be anything but sure-footed.  Things will level out in May, but for now, we must find our ability to root in where and when we can.  Use this Aries season to rest and recharge.  Navigate the next few weeks with mindfulness at the forefront.  If you want to fight battles now, try to resist.  Train instead.  Stay disciplined and committed to your practices and the person you are committed to becoming.  Your time to charge forward will come.  Take time this season to conserve your energy and prepare.

Pisces Season
February 18th - March 20th, 2025
Â
It’s Pisces Season, and it’s time to dream bigger than you ever have before!
…but it may be hard to.  We’re breaking out of old cycles of reality as we shift from the Age of skeptic and realist Capricorn into this Age of all-things possible Aquarius.  Transformation can be exhausting and with Pisces ruled by Neptune, the Planet of Sleep, Conscious Rest, and Daydreaming, we may want to spend more time horizontal than vertical.  Don’t be afraid to lean into stillness and non-doing, because even when our bodies rest, our brain continues to function just the same!  This is why dream and meditative spaces can be so powerful.  When the brain doesn’t know the difference between what is real and what isn’t, we have incredible power to decide how everything goes from here.
Â
Although our ability to co-create is not new news, it is something that is just now becoming more accepted as truth in mainstream.  It’s much easier to believe we are powerless, and there’s some outer energy to blame on it all.  Even Astrology can seem to do so, as we use the planets and stars to explain the energy playing out at hand.  The truth is, we have a lot more control than we give ourselves credit for.  As we dance through Pisces season over the next few weeks, give yourself permission to believe in the mass variety of possibilities that can play out in your very near future.
Â
Make sure you also take time to record your dreams so you don’t lose track of the details.  Mercury is in Pisces until March 3rd, giving us more ability to listen to our inner self, our spirit guides, and anything else that needs to help guide us closer to our destiny.  This transit also supports us connecting more to the liminal spaces in our dream worlds, both the dreams we navigate in deep sleep and those that we find ourselves drifting to when consciously more awake.  If you find yourself lost in your imagination this season, make sure to keep a record of what you see and experience, so you have more direction when it feels like the appropriate time to take more action.
Â
Pisces is the last season of winter, and although we may be anxious for spring, we are still in a time of yin.  These next few weeks will be a portal between endings and beginnings, as well as an opportunity this particular year to slow down and prepare for the Astrology ahead.  While the New Moon on February 27th is not eclipsed, we are now shifting into the Virgo-Pisces eclipse series.  The Full Moon in Virgo on March 14th will be in a Total Lunar Eclipse, shifting us all back into more alignment with the life our soul intended to live out on this planet.  Don’t be surprised if you see big shakeups during this time, especially if you’re a Virgo or Pisces, or if you’re an earth or water sign.
Â
It’s also important to manage your fire this Pisces season.  While the sign of the fish owns the water element, this form of matter displays as the emotional body within us.  Pisces is known for expressing its feelings, but when Mercury shifts out of Pisces and into Aries on March 3rd, we might struggle to let things through as much as we did before.  It will become even more challenging to stay calm and collected as Pisces season plays out.  Don’t be surprised if you experience feelings of angst, frustration, or even want to throw a tantrum!  Aries is the sign of the cosmic kid, and when Mercury goes retrograde on March 15th in 9 degrees of Aries, we are likely to have outbursts.  As Mercury spins back into emotional Pisces on March 29th, then goes direct on April 7 in 26 degrees of Pisces, we may want to confront our feelings more, but not necessarily let them through.  Part of this is due to Mars being in Cancer until mid-April, where the Planet of Action tends to shell up and hold back.  In fact, our masculine energy and ability to initiate or self-start has been debilitated since Mars went Retrograde back in December, and when it goes Direct on February 23rd during Pisces Season and in the sign of Cancer, not much will change.  Lean into the desire to do less.  There is always a reason for how we are feeling.  There will be more time to move forward once we shift fully into Aries Season and Mercury goes Direct again.
Â
One of the more rare cosmic events happening this Pisces season is a planetary alignment from January 21st-28th.  While this doesn’t have any astrological significance, when the planets can get their stuff together enough to get in line, perhaps we can, too!  Use the inspiration of the planetary parade the last week of January to start getting your life together and your energy aligned while also marching to the beat of your own drum!

Aquarius Season
January 19th, 2024 - February 18th, 2024
Â
Aquarius Season is here, and it’s time to think, do, and BE different!
Â
The sign of the cosmic “Water-Bearer” is often misunderstood.  Partially because their behavior doesn’t align with the status quo, but also because their association to water sometimes causes them to be mistaken for a water sign.  Aquarius is actually an air sign, and the vessel she pours from is a representation of her mind.  The stories she shares, the wisdom she passes on, and the space she holds for others are all affiliated with the water she both holds and pours consistently.
Â
Within our energetic body, water is related to emotion.  It is found primarily with our second energy center, known as Svadisthana Chakra, which is where we develop relationship and deeper connection to others.  Aquarius energy is all about the exchange of emotionally-fueled energy, usually around personal story, and about the passionate connections we all share deep within our heart spaces.
Coming back to the elements, the air of Aquarius can be found within the heart, lungs, and throat of the subtle energy body.  We both receive and give air in conversation, and anytime we talk or express we are moving the air up and out.  It can also be moved “down and out”, because air is also related to the thinking mind and connection to the ether.  Sometimes this is a thought moved into voice.  Sometimes it is more of a spiritual download.  Whatever is moving through you, don’t be surprised if you are more inclined to start expressing it and “airing it out” now, even if you haven’t felt like doing so before.
Â
The Sun officially moved into Aquarius this year on January 19th at 2pm CST, while also conjunct with Pluto and causing us to feel power struggles both between Capricorn and Aquarius energy, as well as the old and the new in general.  I find it interesting that the American Presidential Inauguration of Donald Trump happens less than 24 hours after the “launch” of this year’s solar dance with Aquarius.  When you take into consideration the team of people he is building, including out-of-box-thinking Elon Musk, you can’t help but feel the Aquarian vibes!  No matter how you feel about the shift in leadership, the energy is different, for sure!  That’s Aquarius for you!  This sign is all about ushering in new ways of thinking, doing, and existing.  With the Age of Aquarius now officially at hand, I have no doubt we will continue to see shifts in global leadership and politics as we navigate the future.
Â
Aquarius energy thrives on connection.  I like to call them “The Cosmic Humanitarian,” because they spend a lot of their energy fighting for others’ equality.  They are ruled by freedom-fighting and radical Uranus, who begins Aquarius season Retrograde in Taurus and shifts our focus to fight for equal support for all.  Think equal pay, fair living conditions and wages, and ease around accessibility.  These areas and others like it will probably be where our collective focus is headed.  With Uranus retrograde, this energy might now be more in the mind, where we come up with ideas for deeper connection and better ways to help.  By the time Uranus goes direct in Taurus on January 30th, we will probably feel more inspired to take direct action and implement or integrate policies, philanthropic efforts, and other forms of action.  Considering this shift with Uranus happens one day after the New Moon in Aquarius, where Sun and Moon (aka masculine and feminine energies) join forces to help us fight for what’s good, we can’t help but put on our volunteer hats, give to our favorite charities, or become incredibly passionate about helping out with what feels best from our hearts.  We also have Mercury shifting into Aquarius on January 27th, fueling the expression of what we need in order to feel most successful in our efforts.
Â
There is going to be a lot of integration and collaboration within this Aquarius season.  The New Moon on January 29th is also known as Lunar New Year and Chinese New Year, when we will invite in the energy of the Wood Snake to take over.  This could be interpreted as the awakening of The Kundalini, the masculine and feminine “snakes” or energetic highways that intersect up our spine and control our subtle energy vortexes.  We are already seeing more of the concepts of the Chakras rising to mainstream acceptance, when they were labeled as quite “out there” and unique not that long ago.  Now that the Age of Aquarius has been activated, we are more inclined to consider these other ways of connecting to and understanding ourselves. If you've been curious about more than just your physical self. Now is the time to explore more.
Â
When Venus moves into Aries on February 4th, on the same day that Jupiter goes direct in Gemini, we will feel a need to expand and grow into our most complete and whole self to date.  Mars, Aries ruling planet, has been retrograde since December 6th and will continue spinning backwards throughout the entire of this Aquarius Season until February 23rd.  When we have a Mars retrograde, we feel more Yin than Yang.  We focus more on ourselves and our energy rather than the external and we move closer to our goals through the power of our mind rather than brute force or physical action.  When Venus, the planet of yin, shifts into Aries, we feel a need to embrace both sides of ourselves.  You may feel the need to be more assertive than normal during this time or you may want to be more intentional with setting boundaries.  On the contrary, you may feel a need to “lay down your sword” and do things in a different way when it comes to fighting for what you want.  Think more diplomatic rather than controlling, even if the challenges you face are simply within you.  This Aquarius Season wants you to accept yourself and all of your ways, no matter how different they can be.  The more you act on the way your truest self wants to live, the easier it will be to obtain what is most aligned with your soul.
Â
By the time we reach the Full “Snow” Moon in Leo on February 12th, we will only have one more week with Aquarius energy.  You may want to get playful, curious, or downright weird during the full moon portal.  Leo energy is like that of a cat--inquisitive, impulsive, and entertaining.  Aquarius energy is a little upside-down, inside-own, and out-of-this-world!  With Mercury still dangling with Aquarius under the full moonlight, don’t be surprised if you feel like expressing yourself in a more uniquely spontaneous way than normal.
Â
There may also be a need to express more of your love around the full moon or just after.  Mercury will enter into heart-ruled Pisces on Valentine’s Day of all days, causing us all to feel a little more lovestruck than usual.  Remember, we may also feel more impulsive when it comes to acting on our feels due to that Venus in Aries alignment, so get brave and put yourself out there if you've been thinking about it.  This may be you finally hitting up your crush or it may be you simply acting on whatever your heart desires.  If there’s been someone or something that you’ve wanted to connect more deeply to, use the last week of Aquarius season and the holiday of love to help fuel your ability to make your heart’s dreams come true.
Â
We wrap up this season with Pallas--the asteroid affiliated with intellect, strategy, and truth--entering Aquarius and helping us to hold onto the concept of living out of our heart center.  Don’t be surprised if you want to do differently over the next few weeks, but be even more prepared for spontaneous shifts towards the end of the month.  By the time we enter Pisces season on February 18th, you may be in a completely different place or space than you are now!  Aquarius energy is known to be flighty.  Let yourself go where the winds of Source blow you as you navigate the beginning of this new year.

Capricorn Season
December 21st, 2024 - January 19th, 2024
Â
It’s Capricorn Season, and it’s time to shift our focus.
Â
The sign of the hard working Sea-Goat is always aiming to move up, and with this shift from Sagittarius to Capricorn season you may feel a need to elevate or uplift your life.  Sagittarius season was all about us finding our joy and building strong fences around what we both want and need in order to feel happy.  Now, Capricorn moves in to make sure we’re taking advantage of the boundaries we have now set.  While this sign is usually focused on external work like career or other more professional pursuits, this particular Capricorn season wants us to do the inner work instead.  Mars, the Planet of Work, Taking Action, Yang, Masculinity, and War is currently retrograde in Leo, a sign ruled by the heart and led by its glow.  This sets up an energy for us to work on ourselves more, and make sure we’re living out of our heart’s truest desires, so we feel like we're also living out of our joy.  Leo can be a more selfish energy, and this Mars Retro in Leo happening during Capricorn Season reminds us to take care of ourself and engage in the practices we need in order to not only feel more stable, but also happier.
Â
Sometimes depicted only as a goat, Capricorn brings the energy of grounding.  Showing up in the middle of the holiday season, this sign helps us find more footing when the world feels extra stimulating and demanding.  This is also a season that carries us through the holiday season and into the new year.  This gives us the motivation we need to get more structured and intentional as we move into our next chapter.  Use this season to think about where you want to go in your life, and what steps you need to get there in the near future.
Â
You may also need to do shadow work this particular Capricorn season in order to heal any emotional wounds that hinder your growth.  Chiron, an asteroid representing our wounds, traumas, and triggers, will go direct on December 29th in the sign of Aries, a sign of ambition, the inner child, childlike energy, the warrior, and cardinal fire.  Aries is also ruled by Mars.  Combine this Chiron in Aries with Mars retrograde in Leo, and we may finally feel like doing what it takes to change ourselves or feel more whole. If you’ve been struggling to do the work you need to, or if you’ve been having a hard time facing your truths or your past, focus more on this work closer to the end of this year and beginning of next.
Â
You may not want to take action right away, but you definitely want to set the intention on what you need to do.  The New “Black” Moon in Capricorn gives us a rare second new moon this December.  This also gives us a second chance to direct our energy where we we need it the most as we step into the new year.  On January 6th, just one week after this new moon, Mars Retrograde will shift into Cancer, giving us more permission to get in touch with ourselves and more energy to shell up and do the work we need to by ourselves.  On January 8th, Mercury will shift into Capricorn, possibly giving us the sure-footedness we need to communicate to others clearly and ensure we have strong boundaries.  When the Full moon in Cancer arrives on January 13th, we’ll want to tend to ourselves even more.  Don’t be surprised if you find yourself more self-centered this holiday season and into the first of the new year.  And don’t judge if this is how things play out.  We have to have balance between work and rest, yin, and yang.  This Capricorn Season is giving us a break and giving us permission to focus on ourselves most of all.Â
Â
It’s funny how this is the energy we now find ourselves under just as we are “officially” into the Age of Aquarius.  We will discuss this sign more around January 19th when the season officially starts, but know that this sign is all about thinking, doing, and being different.  As we shift out of the rigid thinking of Capricorn and enter this ever-expanding Age of the “Water-Bearer”, it’s time to shift into a more elevated and lifted way of operating.  The Capricorn goat always likes to climb to the top of the mountain.  The more we allow ourselves to “lighten up” and climb our spiritual ladder just the same (i.e., the more we work to raise our Kundalini), the more adaptable we will become with the new ways of thinking, doing, and magical manifesting that are on their way in this new 5D+ reality!
Â
Although Capricorn is the realist sign of the zodiac, this particular season will help us all lean into the sign's more mythological side.  Known as the “Sea-Goat” the story of this creature is woven into the folklore of many cultures.  Some say it is half-goat, half-fish, others say it is an incarnation of the Greek mythological Pan, others say it is a mermaid/merman type of creature.  There are more tales of this entity, but one thing to know about this creature is it is ruled by Saturn, the Planet of Karma.  With this particular season of Capricorn bringing Venus into Pisces, the sign of the dreamer, on January 2nd and the North Node into Pisces on January 11th,  it will be karmic in 2025 whether we believe in our magic, or not.  Use this holiday season to believe in the light within you, and keep stoking the flames of your heart’s desires throughout this Capricorn season and the rest of winter, so you stay fueled to focus on your dreams through winters’ end.
