Pisces Season
2/20 - 3/20/26
Â
Pisces Season is here, and while the Year of the Fire Horse wants us to move forward with full force, Saturn in Aries holds us back and helps us make sure we’re headed in the right direction.  With the Sun moving into Pisces one day after a total solar eclipse and within the eclipse season, time may feel like it’s either standing still, or speeding up very quickly.Â
Â
Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac and deals with endings, unraveling, and, ultimately death.  A mutable water sign, this is an emotional energy as well as sensitive.  With Neptune, Pisces ruling planet, now shifted out of its home sign and into Aries, everything else will shift, too.  The good news is, Aries is the FIRST sign of the zodiac and signifies new, bolder beginnings!  It also helps us let go of things easier and trust in the promise of something better.
Â
Pisces is represented by two fish in an endless loop, one swimming up and one swimming down.  It reminds us that in death there is rebirth, and in life, there is death.  The sign is also sometimes represented by the entire “cosmic ocean”, where all creation seeds from.  I like to call Pisces “The Cosmic Artist”.  They’re full of expression and have a beautiful way of showing how they feel and what they envision through alternative form.  Many times, they can move us with what they create and help us process our own internal tides.  Music, poetry, cinema, dance, and other forms of art will be especially powerful this season.
Â
Aquarius Season
1/19 - 2/18/26
Â
Aquarius always likes to shake things up, but this particular year the sign of the water-bearer brings a particularly shifting season!
Â
Mercury, Mars, Venus AND Pluto will all move through Aquarius with the Sun this time around, bringing a lot of air to the collective.  This could play out in uplifting conversations, innovative masterminding, shared power/control, and more beauty around what’s “different” or “weird”.  It’s also a season of authentic expression almost to the extreme.  It may be best to have “you do you” this season and let “them do them”.  When we learn to let go of judgement and we eliminate our triggers, life becomes much easier.
Â
This season is about focusing on both self and other, with the greater good of all in mind.  Part of this is due to the community-oriented nature of Aquarius.  Known as the Cosmic “Water-Bearer”, this sign loves to “pour” from its heart and mind the information and stories it needs to share.  Sometimes mistaken for a water sign, this is actually fixed air energy, meaning the wind is always blowing!Â
Capricorn Season
12/21/25 - 1/19/26
Â
It’s Christmas Eve, and I’m just now sitting down to write about Capricorn season. Although the sun shifted signs three days ago, as a busy mom and business owner, I’ve only just found the time to really sit down and channel.
Â
Capricorn energy is all about priorities. This sign wants us to laser focus in on what’s important, so we find the success we’ve been working towards. Rather than sit back and relax at the end of the year, Capricorn carries us from ending into new beginnings, and pushes us forward into change, whether we like it or not. This particular year we may feel an extra fire lit underneath us to keep momentum, as the Sagittarius new moon arrived two days before Capricorns season.  This helps us hold the energy to make our dreams come true and not give up despite winter’s slow season.  Even if it’s just one step a day, this year’s Capricorn season wants us to put one foot in front of another as much as we can.

Aries Season
March 20th, 9:46am -
April 19th, 8:39pm
(Times are Central Standard)
Â
Aries season is here, and this year it ushers in the sign of Cardinal fire with a dose of water dousing its typical nature.
Â
We began the first season of the astrological year 2 days after a Pisces New moon and with Mars, Aries ruling planet, also swimming with the sign of the cosmic fish. On the other side, Venus, the planet of everything that Mars isn’t, is actually dancing within the flames of Aries. To add to this confusing, cosmic mashup, we also have Neptune, the ruling planet of Pisces, in Aries! Talk about water on fire! Last month was not your typical Pisces season, and this month will not be the typical dance with the cosmic warrior. Get ready! We still have many changes to make before we are collectively ready to move forward.
Â
Pisces energy is about endings, death, and decay. It’s the last sign of the zodiac and focuses on detachment. Aries, on the other hand, is all about fresh new beginnings. It’s the first sign of the zodiac and moves forward into the cosmic journey With full vitality and ambition.
Â
It’s also impatient.  While Pisces is a mutable water sign that could care less about the constructs of time, Aries is a cardinal fire sign all about achieving its goals as quickly as possible.  You might not feel like setting intentions around the beginning of spring due to the Pisces new moon setting the tone for the entire lunar cycle until April 17th. A Pisces new moon wants us to focus on creating space for what’s next, so we are fully ready to receive the biggest, best thing yet. Use the fiery energy of Aries this season to spring clean and declutter. It’s also a good month to focus on detoxing our body and internal world as much as our external. Mercury goes direct on this first day of Aries season, but it remains behaving at its next possible worst in its post-retrograde shadow and fall in Pisces until April 9th. This can impact our throat chakra, including our sinuses and overall wellness. This first month of spring tends to be a time when the weather calibrates as well, and Mercury may continue to be up to its tricky ways, messing with weather swings, until it officially moves out of Pisces and into Aries on April 14th.  Try to prioritize yourself most of all until then.
Â
Aries energy is naturally selfish, so placing yourself at numeral Uno in your life should be easier now. Even though Aries ruling planet Mars is still in the sign of the cosmic ocean, it’s working on moving into its home sign of cardinal fire on April 9th. This will give us another week and a half or so to truly take advantage of this warrior season, and the energy will continue to build throughout the entire Aries lunar cycle until late May.
Â
Despite all of the water, Aries energy continues to burn as strongly as possible.  It’s probably impossible to completely extinguish this sign, and thanks to Neptune, Saturn, Venus, and Chiron, the flames of Aries show up equally within ourselves and the external collective.  The 9,000 year old conjunction of Neptune and Saturn in 0° Aries happened back on February 20th, but the impact will last for 2 years.  Fire energy is all about transformation and the sign of Aries initiates us through rebirth.  Get ready for the fire of Aries to continue to rev itself up through 2028 or longer!
Â
The first week of Aries Season holds two aspects around this Neptune-Saturn conjunction worth mentioning.  On March 22nd, two days after the beginning of Aries season and 3 days before a First Quarter Moon, Neptune will find itself “Cazimi” or combust by the sun at 1* Aries.  This will exalt the planet of dreams and illusion and possible the conjunction it forms with Saturn.  This also happens three days before Saturn also comes into Cazimi at 4* Aries.  Even more magical, this is the 2nd and 3rd Cazimis of 3 in March alone!  The previous was on March 7th with Mercury Retrograde in Pisces.  3 is the number of transformation, symbolizing the life-death-rebirth cycle.  Fire also brings transformation.  Much has happened in the past season and much is still building to help us lean into change!
Â
Our next full moon continues the triple symbology with a Full moon on 4/1 at 12* Libra.  1+2 = 3, and you could even look at how 4-1 also =3 since full moons are a time of letting go.  Remember that total lunar eclipse and blood moon we had with the last full moon at 3:33am on 3/3?  There is so much magic unfolding on the collective!  We also have Venus moving out of Aries and into Taurus on 3/30 (more 3s!), which will help us slow down what may have been changing swiftly in our relationships, value/self-worth, and ability to lean into flow.  The “Pink” Libra Full Moon will also pull us out of the fire and more into our heart, where we can shift the energy from so much conflict and more into peace.
Â
Take the breather while you can.  On April 9th, the same day that Mercury finally leaves its post-retrograde shadow, we have Mars entering its home sign of Aries.  Having both Mars & Venus in their home signs will bring more collaborative AND challenging efforts, depending on the circumstance.  When the masculine and feminine truly come together, we can co-create the ultimate reality!  But when they oppose each other, the tension will only continue to build. Â
Â
On April 14th, Mercury will officially move out of Pisces, where it’s been for nearly 2 months, into Aries, joining the sun for 5 days before our solar star moves onward to Taurus Season.  The only other big event will be with the moon in 27* Aries on April 17th.  While it may seem subtle, this ignition will provide us the full Aries gateway of new beginnings to finally step through!  With it all happening just 2 days before the season of the bull, we’ll have a coupling of Aries-Taurus energy for most of the month after.  Aries combined with Taurus creates a portal of opportunity, where we can go after what we desire and make it happen with more ease.  That’s not to say it won’t require effort, but there’s a lot from the cosmos to support taking the steps, as well as coming up with the plan.  While Aries Season itself won’t be the time to fully move forward, it is a time to prepare.  Use the influence of Pisces this season to rest, restore, and strategize your plan, then use the energy of Aries as it builds throughout the season to move forward with confidence and direct will.

Pisces Season
February 18th, 9:52am -
March 20th, 10:46am
(Times are Central Standard)
Â
With Uranus currently in Taurus this Pisces Season, I can see art getting radical, political, or revolutionary.  With AI moving so strongly through the ether, artists are having a modern day Renaissance.  Taurus is related to art, aesthetic, and material pleasure.  It’s ruled by Venus, who is in Pisces for part of this Pisces Season, until March 6th.  Uranus is ruled by Aquarius, who took control of the new moon, lunar cycle, new lunar year, and total solar eclipse just one day before Pisces Season.  All of these placements point to new foundations around what we see as beautiful, pleasurable, and worth our energy/time.  With these planets affecting the collective and the individual, we could see great division amongst preferences.
Â
In addition to Venus, Mercury is also in Pisces throughout this entire Pisces Season due to its Retrograde lasting February 26th-March 20th.  We kick off this year’s season of the fish exactly 7 days after the Mercury Pre-Retrograde Shadow, already giving us a preview of the energy to come.  Expect deep and possibly old emotions to rise to the surface, and both introspection and intuition to be at an all time high.  With the retrograde occurring during eclipse season, we’re being attuned to listen more from within, rather than be influenced on the external.  Pay attention this Pisces Season to how you feel in all circumstances.  Your energy does not lie and will most definitely speak to you. Manage it accordingly when it does.
Â
This may also be a Pisces Season where signals are shown more swiftly than usual.  This sign is related to the spiritual, the other side of the veil, and the mystical/magical.  It tends to lean into signs and metaphysical symbology instead of the real, more logical world.  It helps us hold onto a sense of whimsy in the mundane and possibly hope in times of despair.  Full of imagination, the energy will push us to dream, too.  With Neptune, Pisces ruling planet, currently in Aries, manifestation is rising.  This transit lasts 14 years, but involves spiritual dissolution and an ability to start sorting real from illusion.  Pay attention to signs and symbols from the universe this Pisces and Aries Seasons and trust your intuition.  You are likely being guided toward a better path.
Â
If you go the wrong way right now, Saturn will quickly redirect you.  Also in Aries with Neptune, this transit will help us shift into our true destiny or what supports our life force best over the next 2 years.  With all of this energy happening at the start of the “Year of the Horse” in Chinese astrology, we have a lot of fire to make quick decisions and let go with ease.  Aries is already a fire sign that spends most of its time transmuting.  Expect this Pisces Season to burn away what no longer serves your energy.  Expect the next 2 years to open up gateways of opportunity of you to make choices toward a better future.
Â
On February 20th, just 2 days after Pisces Season begins, we will experience a Neptune-Saturn conjunction.  This happens every 36-37 years, with the last time happening in 1989.  What’s pivotal about THIS year’s conjunction is it’s occurring at 0° Aries.  This hasn’t happened in over 9,000 years!  Some people are labeling this a “genesis” moment, as it may have not occurred since 7000 B.C.
Â
….funny, I saw a car in front of me yesterday morning called a “genesis”, and I had no idea what it was!  It was engrained into the back of it all the way across.  What interesting timing!
Â
Only time will tell what plays out with this cosmic moment, but a few patterns are important to note.  Neptune in Aries is about spiritual activism and Saturn in Aries is about sustainable action.  I would expect this Pisces Season to disrupt some major belief systems, as well as ideals people may have held for a long time.Â
Â
Eclipse Seasons are always a time of shakeups and redirections, and this particular year we have both a total solar eclipse one day before Pisces season, and a total lunar “blood moon” eclipse on March 3rd, during Pisces Season.  Talk about coming to crossroads of decision!  This year’s Pisces Season is asking us if we want to keep learning the same lessons, or if we want something new.  The latter choice will lead to jumping into the unknown, but it’s the portal you have to step through in order to evolve.  It’s not wrong to choose to stay where you are, by the way, but with Pisces being a sign that seeks answers, you may find it more beneficial and stirring to move onward and upward.  Remember, Pisces is symbolized by an endless loop.  Don’t let your life get stuck on repeat while the world around you is going through a revolution.
Â
Expect a feeling of tug-of-war between yourself and others, yourself and your own energy, and your internal feelings.  The second half of Pisces Season will start to calm slightly, but with Aries Season coming next, the momentum of life will only increase!  Use the pause between eclipses to reorient your life around your joy, especially with Jupiter in 15° Cancer and going direct on March 10th. Venus moving into Aries a few days before on March 6th will push you to make choices around what feels best for you.  The new moon in Pisces on March 18th, just 2 days before Aries Season begins, will also help to slow you down and check in with your heart before moving forward with any commitments.  Use this season of the fish to lean into your sensitivity.  Everything you feel will help guide you in the right direction.
Aquarius Season
January 19th, 7:45pm -
February 18th, 9:52am
(Times are Central Standard)
Â
The other reason we’re coming together with the external is due to Pallas entering Pisces just 5 days into Aquarius Season.  This causes the asteroid of strategy and creative planning to become more sensitive and empathetic.  With Pisces known as the Cosmic Artist, we could also come up with some really interesting ideas on how to move forward!  Use this transit to come together with others of like-mind, or perhaps hold more space and an open-mind to those you don’t necessarily agree with.  Aquarius energy wants us to take on different perspectives.
Â
Don’t be surprised if you find yourself interacting with other cultures this season, or traveling to places unlike your own.  All of the Aquarius wind can also blow us into different places and spaces!  We may also unlock new ideas in our mind or become more innovative.  Ruled by Uranus, Aquarius thinks outside the box in order to find new and better ways.  We also have not just Pallas in dreamy and imaginative Pisces, but we also have Mercury and Venus entering Pisces around the second half of Aquarius Season.  This shifts the mind to the “what could be”.  February 6th will really start to open the portal for the water of Pisces to flow through.  Get ready for what it could bring with it!
Â
Mixing the actual sign of the ocean with the sign of the water-bearer can bring on more emotion than usual.  The Taurus First Quarter Moon on January 25th will bring up matters of the heart, especially around security and financial assuredness.  It will also help us approach what floats to the surface with a more grounded stance.  The energy will be fleeting, but will return on February 3rd when Uranus goes Direct also in Taurus.  Expect changes and advancements in how the collective deals with money, and more invention involving the integration of the senses.  There will also be a major urge to think out side of the box or approach things very differently.  With the Full Moon in Leo on February 1st just two days before the Uranus station, we feel more courageous and independent to do what we want and lead our life as we please.
Â
The Taurus transits set us up this season to navigate one of the biggest shifts of the year.  Neptune, the ruling planet of Pisces, shifts into Aries on January 26th, sending us on a 13 year voyage filled with bold dreams and a collective, pioneering, innovative spirit. MAJOR change could take place.  We need to mentally and emotionally prepare.
Â
On February 9th, Scorpio will take over the Last Quarter Moon, helping us to process and shed any feelings around transformation that are outdated.  Perfect for Aquarius Season, this moon will help us create the space we need to move forward futuristically.  When Saturn enters Aries 4 days later, we’ll find ourselves even more ready to do work around generational healing or karma.  Not as long a transit as Neptune in Aries, this one will only last into 2028.  Use the next 2 years to integrate into your future self, but remind yourself to also hold space for what you’re letting go of along the way.  Growing pains are labeled so for a reason.  Having the planet of contraction in the planet of the child will cause us to go through a few forceful shifts, whether we like it or not.
Â
Everything we go through this season is setting us up for the main event—the Solar Eclipse in Aquarius!  Occurring on February 17th in 28° Aquarius, this lunar portal will give us the opportunity to step into our future much quicker than we thought it would take.  It won’t happen on its own; we will have to take active steps.  If we shift our mind to what we can become, it will be quite easy to grasp what we’ve been dreaming of for quite sometime.  By the time we move into Pisces season 24 hours later, everything could feel different.  Use the last week of Aquarius Season leading up to these solar and lunar shifts to really focus on who you want to become and where you want to go.  Meditate on how your big dreams and intentions can give results that also improve the collective.  If everything is aligned for the favor of all, it can expand greatly very soon!  Are you ready to hold space for it all?  Air energy has no limits.  You may just have things coming to you that are beyond what you can fathom.
Capricorn Season 2025-26
December 21st, 2025 9:03am -
January 19th, 2026 7:45pm
(Times are Central Standard)
Â
[Insert 9 day pause…]
Â
Ok, now it’s JANUARY 2ND, and I’m just NOW sitting down to FINISH writing about Capricorn Season!
Whoops!
Â
I don’t know about you, but I’ve been deep in the throws of the holiday daze while trying to manage a Yoga studio and business at the beginning of the new year.  Even though I took 2 weeks off from teaching classes, I still didn’t get half the things done that I wanted, to.  I mean, the AUDACITY of Capricorn Season to always show up on Yule!  How can it expect us to work when there’s 12 days of celebrating to do?!  I have to admit, in the spirit of a Sagittarius lunar cycle ruling with this Capricorn Sun this year, I’ve been prioritizing JOY most of all.  I’ve been taking time to teach my son about Yule, make lots of “woo” crafts and decorations, and take time out, most importantly, to practice the art of wintering with plenty of rest and slowing down.  My Sagittarius stellium has been celebrating the holidays for 12 days and then some, and my Capricorn Moon keeps telling me “it will get done, just keep going!” That’s the same message I pass onto you.  Take things one breath at a time and give yourself grace.  I read a something the other day that said “2026 is about messy authenticity over filtered perfection”.  I’m here for it.  Thank you for accepting me, messy imperfections and all!
Â
Ok, now back to this year’s Capricorn Season.  As of right now, January 2nd, Venus, Mercury, and Juno are all dancing exactly combust with the sun in the sign of the “goat”, and Mars is also in the same sign, but just a few degrees away.  All of our inner planets (and the asteroid of commitments & power, too) are working to keep us climbing the proverbial mountain of success.  Just as the mountain goat stands in a sure-footed stance on crumbling ground, we may also have the power to stand firm with our goals despite challenges around us.  Winter isn’t always easy to create or grow in, but the mix of Sagittarius & Capricorn energy at hand has us believing anything is possible!  Trust the energy, and lean into what you are capable of.
Â
…Speaking of trust, me working on a BIG dream and project is another reason why I’ve been late to writing about Capricorn Season this year.  Since August, I’ve been creating a 2026 astrological almanac, and over the past couple of weeks I’ve been working to get it from digital to material form.  I’m excited to say that as of TODAY I have everything finalized and ready to go.  As someone who has ADHD and has to hyperfocus in on projects, I feel like I finally NOW have the time to turn around and refocus on the astrology of current times!
Â
JUST IN TIME FOR A SUPERMOON!
Â
January 3rd will give us our first full moon of the year, and this time around it’s a SUPER “Wolf” Moon in Cancer.  Arriving just one day after Chiron goes Direct in Aries, helping us to heal our childhood wounds, the sign of the nurturer takes over its ruling planet the moon to help mother us through the process.  With this moon arriving so close to the post-holiday season AND showing up closer to earth than normal, we could have some serious emotional uprisings.  With Sagittarius still ruling the entire lunar cycle, we could also have BIG feelings!  Navigate the SUPERMoon portal with gentleness and grace so you don’t get overwhelmed with what you need to handle. Sagittarius wants you to lean into expansion.
Â
As far as the rest of the Capricorn Season, nothing out of the cosmic norm is happening.  Vesta, the asteroid of devotion, will move into Aquarius on the 11th just one day after a Last Quarter Libra Moon.  We also have Venus entering Aquarius on the 17th.  These transits set us up to focus more on our networks and communities and ensure they feel like they’re the ones accepting us at our most authentic self.  It may also be a time when we learn to “beautify” our weird, or simply allow ourselves to feel more accepted just as we truly are.  With the New Moon beginning a lunar cycle on the 18th in Capricorn and the Sun moving into Aquarius the next day, we’ll be ready to really work to make this new version of ourselves shine!  We may also move into the deep of winter feeling more motivated to pursue our individual interests or bring our special skills through.  In the process, we will feel more free.
Â
This isn’t your usual serious Capricorn Season!  It’s more lighthearted and open-minded.  Although more modernly depicted as a goat, the mythological “Sea-Goat” is the actual archetype of Capricorn.  Woven throughout several cultures across the globe, this creature reminds us to believe in the unbelievable.  We have already seen so much happen over the past year of 2025!  Are we starting to believe that much can unfold and shift in 2026?  This year’s Capricorn Season brings us a “1” year or “10” year, which stands for a brand new beginning or true new book of chapters.  Get excited about what’s to come, and start committing to your destiny.  The Sea-Goat wants you to start aligning with your soul’s purpose, no matter what it is and how you think others will feel about it!  Are you ready to accept the challenge to become who you are meant to be?!  With Capricorn ruling time, the cosmos is giving you permission to say YES! right now!
